Speranza 22 have partnered with Life After Rugby (LAR) for the 2021 Dubai 7’s and beyond. The partnership materialised through player connections between Speranza 22 and L.A.R - connections that recognised the synergy of both the philosophy and goals both organisations shared. This partnership will see Speranza 22 and L.A.R join forces to field a team that boast some of the best sevens players, solely selected from Fiji 7’s Olympics gold medal winners from 2016 and 2020, to play alongside our open and academy sides. L.A.R was set up to look after, manage and develop ex and future Fiji 7’s players. The partnership has the added benefit of enabling both organisations to further support their chosen charity partners through increased exposure, while also helping players at the end of their international sevens career transition into what comes next, either playing professional club rugby or entering the professional world.
